Français 1A - Today we did Listening Activities for Leçon 14 and reviewed for the Quiz.  

Les Devoirs: Quiz next Monday (Le 1er juin) ; Étudiez!  You may also do the www.classzone.com quiz for lecon 14 and print it out for class in order to redeem extra credit points.

Français 3 - Today we started discussing our Petit Prince Project.  See link above for info!  

We also read Chapitre 15 in groups.

Français 1A - L'Objectif: To talk about where and how people are going somewhere.  Today we played a Memory Game for Euros and Homework Passes.  Les Devoirs: Rien!! 

Français 3 - L'Objectif: Pour comprendre Le Petit Prince.  Today we continued reading Le Petit Prince and started our Character Description Books.  Essays were collected.  

Les Devoirs: For next Tuesday, you will have to read up to Chapitre 12. 

Take Home Quiz will be posted and due on Tuesday.

Français 3 - Objectif: To write an essay.  Today we finished our rough copies of the Baobab essay. 

 Les Devoirs: Lisez Chapitres 6+7 et faites attention aux 3 choses

Essay Topic for Francais 3

Saint-Exupery veut nous avertir des dangers qui menacent la vie.   Choisissez un danger qui menace notre vie sur notre planète.  Trouvez des parallèles entre ce que Saint-Exupery raconte sur la planète du petit prince et ce qui existe sur la planète Terre.

Considérez ce que peut représenter, entre autres, les bonnes graines et les mauvaises graines, les bonnes herbes et les mauvaises herbes, les baobabs, le sol infeste de la planète, sa menace globale, notre rôle dans la <<toilette>> de la planète (ce qui nous amènera a trouver une solution) et l'urgence de nous en occuper.

Ecrivez une rédaction de 5 paragraphes de cinq a huit phrases chacun.  

Le premier paragraphe servira comme introduction au sujet et aux idées que vous voulez traiter.

Continuez avec 3 paragraphes pour développer votre thème.  Soutenez votre point de vue avec ce que vous avez lu dans le texte  ->  Utilisez 3 citations du Chapitre 5.

Use your own ideas and your own personal reflections.  The 5th paragraph should serve as your conclusion that you took from your observations.
